Job summary

Sequoia Equities is seeking a Service Manager for its Roseville, CA properties. You will lead a maintenance team, diagnose issues, and fix a wide range of systems to protect a multi‑million dollar asset.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and a proactive, positive attitude. You will work closely with your team, ensuring high standards of care, meeting schedule demands, and delivering reliable maintenance services across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must-have leadership desire and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and efficiency skills; sense of humor as a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of home maintenance (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting).
• On-call availability and a Monday–Friday preferred schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance team to diagnose and solve issues.
• Roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team to fix things.
• Ensure the multi‑million dollar asset is preserved and maintained to high standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of home maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and painting
• On-call availability
• Preferred schedule: Monday - Friday

Great-to-haves:

• Experience as a general contractor, journeyman, electrician, HVAC technician, or other skilled trade professional
• Knowledge of property management and maintenance operations software such as Yardi
• Maintenance certifications such as EPA or CPO (if you don’t have it, we’ll help you get it)
• Renovation or construction experience

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $28 - $34 / hour plus quarterly bonuses.
