Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities is seeking a diligent on-site maintenance/custodian to perform detailed cleaning across the property, including buildings, amenities, clubhouse, and pool areas. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment and assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes proactive customer interactions, adherence to safety guidelines, and timely package delivery to residents, with weekend availability as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move in various positions (sitting, standing, walking, etc.)
• Must communicate clearly in English, written and spoken
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and evenings

Responsibilities

• Promotes positive, proactive customer interactions to ensure high-quality Irvine Company experience
• Performs detailed cleaning of assigned areas (buildings, amenities, clubhouse, bathrooms, pool area) using cleaning tools
• Cleans for resident move-ins, oversees vendor work, and assists with light maintenance
• Delivers packages and notices to occupied apartments
• Identifies hazards and follows safety guidelines (e.g., burnt-out lights, leaks)
