Job summary

Birgo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support five apartment communities (295 units) in Greensburg and New Kensington. You must be willing to travel between properties; mileage is reimbursed.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with travel between sites as needed. Responsibilities include repairs (drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC), preventative maintenance, and on‑call after‑hours support.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Available for on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Personal insured mode of transportation required.
• Lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with power tools and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs (drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
• Carry out preventative maintenance.
• Respond to after-hours on-call maintenance requests.
• Support property upkeep across Greensburg and New Kensington locations.

In addition to your core responsibilities in Greensburg, you'll have the opportunity to lend your skills to our other locations, ensuring our standards of excellence are met across the WPA region.
