Job summary

Birgo is seeking temporary Maintenance Technicians for Pittsburgh Greensburg areas. You will perform apartment and townhome maintenance, including common area upkeep and repairs. These roles last about 1–3 months and may extend; on-site assignments in Pittsburgh, Greensburg, North Versailles, and South Hills.

Shifts typically 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with on-call rotation. Pay is $19–$24 per hour, weekly, with PTO and PPE supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work with hand/power tools.
• Comfortable working in multi-site property environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds upkeep and common area maintenance.
• Carry out drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and safety checks.
• Support Birgo's mission to improve lives through real estate.

Job Summary

Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate. Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a few qualified technicians for a TEMPORARY position performing apartment and townhome maintenance. We are looking for temp help in Greensburg, North Versailles, and the South Hills. These positions will last approximately 1 month to 3 months (could extend longer if needed and/or convert to FTE).

Pay and Benefits

• $19-24/hour, paid weekly
• Scheduled Monday-Friday, with shifts of 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., as assigned, with an additional on-call rotation
• Paid Time Off
• PPE supplied

Responsibilities

• Grounds upkeep and common area maintenance (may occasionally involve cleaning)
• Repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
• Preventative maintenance
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal, reliable mode of transportation
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
