Job summary

Dominium in Austin, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Capitol Crossing, a 240-unit community. You will engage with prospects by phone, in person, and online to present units, tour property, and process applications while adhering to Fair Housing guidelines.

You will maintain knowledge of local schools, amenities, and driving directions, document interactions in Yardi PMS, and support occupancy goals through outreach and events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Basic math for rent calculations and fees.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• May require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents via phone, email, text, and in person; build rapport and provide property tours.
• Present available units, close leases following company standards, and follow up with prospects.
• Inspect and prepare homes for tours daily to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of property features, local schools, hospitals, banks, shopping, transportation, and amenities; communicate these to prospects.
• Adhere to Fair Housing laws; enter data in Yardi PMS and complete guest cards.
• Guide customers through the application process and collect documentation for affordable housing eligibility.
• Participate in off-site marketing activities to support occupancy goals.
• Support community events, resident retention efforts, and other supervisor-assigned projects.
