Job summary

Gateway Management Company in Raleigh, NC is seeking a temporary, full-time Leasing Agent for our apartment community. The role involves greeting prospective residents, presenting the community and apartments, answering inquiries, and assisting the Property Manager to maintain occupancy goals.

Responsibilities include preparing lease documents, following Fair Housing standards, and fostering resident relations to support retention.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
One or more years of sales or leasing experience.
Strong attention to detail, as demonstrated by regularly verifying all work thoroughly to ensure there are no errors.
Knowledge of general office machines.
Displays a positive, friendly and professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

Greets prospective residents, determines needs and preferences and professionally presents the community and specific apartments while providing features and benefits.
Responds to inquiries for property information in an appropriate and timely manner via email and phone.
Prepares lease and lease renewal documents.
Follows Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents.
Assists the Property Manager in maintaining occupancy goals of the community.
Encourages resident retention by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residents and assists with resident functions, activities and programs as needed.
