Job summary

InterSolutions, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Glassboro, NJ to greet prospective residents, show properties, assess housing needs, and guide applicants through applications, leases, and credit checks.

You will collect security deposits and rent, explain community policies, and help with move-ins and renewals while maintaining timely follow-ups. A weekend availability is required and prior customer service or sales experience is helpful; paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and exposure to social media.
• Familiarity with leasing software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and give tours to assess housing needs and close leads.
• Assist with leasing paperwork, including applications, leases, and credit checks.
• Collect deposits, rent, and move-in charges.
• Communicate lease and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with leads who did not lease.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready with last-minute touches.
• Support lease renewals and retention efforts.
• Respond to calls and emails promptly.

Job Position: Leasing Location: Glassboro, NJ 08028 Pay Rate: $17 - $25/hr Shift:

Leasing Consults play an important role in creating an outstanding living experience for current and prospective residents. This position reports to the property manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and closing leads
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
• Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident moveins
• Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
• Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
• Ensure apartments are movein ready by inspecting, and adding lastminute touches when appropriate
• Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
• Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media
• Knowledge of leasing software a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI, etc.
• Ability to work weekends as required
