Apartment Leasing Professional

Job Description

The Leasing Professional is responsible for being the community's client service representative. Their primary duties include greeting clients, professionally presenting the features and benefits of the community, and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.

Job Duties

• Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and assisting with smooth move-ins.
• Greet prospective residents, assess needs, answer questions, and provide tours of the apartments and community.
• Process applications, review lease agreements and renewals.
• Respond to inquiries via in-person, phone, and email, including providing leasing info, scheduling appointments, and following up on maintenance requests.
• Assist with completing weekly, monthly, and special reports as assigned.
• Receive deposits and rent payments, and record them appropriately.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive and friendly tone.

Job Qualifications

• Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi and/or One Site).
• 6-12 months of previous apartment leasing experience.
• Extensive lease-up experience for new construction apartment communities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented and a strong team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to tour the community, including walking and climbing stairs.
• Ability to diffuse conflicts and solve problems.
