Job summary

City of Ann Arbor seeks a Facilities Technician - Housing to maintain and repair apartments and building systems under the supervision of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager. You will perform preventative maintenance, complete work orders, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of multifamily residential facilities maintenance experience. A valid driver’s license is required; inventory management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years multifamily residential or apartment facilities maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to apartments and building systems.
• Execute repairs as needed and perform preventative maintenance; handle work orders.
• Manage equipment, materials, inventory and stock items, including loading/unloading inventory.
