Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean vacant apartment units between residents.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins according to property standards.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, closets, and other interior spaces.
• Clean and sanitize appliances, cabinets, countertops, sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers.
• Clean floors, carpets, windows, doors, baseboards, and other surfaces.
• Remove trash, debris, and unwanted items from units.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize areas as needed.
• Identify cleaning, maintenance, or repair issues and report them to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Assist maintenance staff with preparing units for turnover when needed.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
• Follow proper procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete unit cleaning assignments within established deadlines.
• Perform other cleaning and property-support duties as assigned.

• This position requires working primarily inside apartment units and common areas, with occasional outdoor work. The employee may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, dirt, odors, and other conditions commonly associated with apartment turnover and property maintenance. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures must be followed at all times.
