Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking an AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer trainee to learn how to repair and maintain combat aircraft. You will remove and install aircraft subsystems, service and lubricate components, and prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 14 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and pay during drills.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Citizenship as required by NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and flight controls.
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Inspect and repair body, fuselage, landing gear, and related components.
