Job summary

Citi is seeking a Reference Data Services Analyst for an APAC shift to support end‑to‑end processing of bilateral trading agreements, ensuring data accuracy, verification, and archiving. You will collaborate with Legal, Credit Risk, and Middle Office teams to maintain regulatory compliance and operational control.

The role emphasizes high attention to detail, data interpretation, and the ability to work independently within a fast‑paced global bank environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in financial reference data management or equivalent high‑precision data quality environment.
• Exemplary data accuracy and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Strong ability to interpret complex documentation and translate terms into database parameters.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and ability to master complex databases and web platforms.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision and manage competing deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify bilateral trading documentation and ISDA/GMRA/SFT/MRA agreements.
• Perform high-precision data entry and validation in contract management systems.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and conduct root-cause analyses.
• Serve as primary operational contact for Legal, Credit Risk, and Middle Office teams.
• Oversee digitization, indexing, and archiving of executed agreements.
• Support automation initiatives and enhancement of system capabilities.
• Act as backup for manager and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Ensure risk assessment and regulatory compliance in line with Citi policies.
