Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Manager, Policy & Government Relations, APAC to lead policy positions across APAC, starting with Singapore and other key markets. You will engage directly with policymakers, monitor regulatory developments, and collaborate with Compliance, Communications, Product, and Engineering teams to shape Kraken's regulatory strategy.

This role is pivotal for Kraken’s expansion in Asia and requires strong regional networks and policy expertise.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of hands-on policy and regulation experience in APAC
• Existing network in Singapore or wider APAC region
• Understanding of financial services policy including digital assets and payments
• Team-oriented mindset with proactive and entrepreneurial approach

Responsibilities

• Lead Kraken's policy positions across APAC and contribute to the company-wide strategy
• Engage directly with policymakers and regulators, starting with Singapore MAS and others
• Monitor, analyze, and advise on regulatory developments across the region
• Collaborate with regulatory, compliance, communications, product, and engineering teams
• Develop external visibility through trade associations and external stakeholders
