Job summary

Rhombus Power, Inc. in Washington, DC is hiring an Intelligence Analyst to produce high-quality assessments on foreign military activities, weapons development, and regional conflicts. You will fuse AI-derived data with open-source information to support U.S.

and Allied national security decisions. The role demands collaboration across teams, strong writing skills, and the ability to deliver rapid analyses under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of analytic experience with SME in Chinese military capabilities and South China Sea operations.
• Experience with the U.S. Intelligence Community or military is strongly desired.
• BA/BS in International Affairs, Political Science, Economics, or similar social science; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience writing intelligence products tailored to client intelligence questions.
• Experience briefing on complex national security and international affairs topics.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analytical methodologies.
• Eligible for DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance; indicate level and sponsoring agency if held.
• Familiarity with data analysis, statistics, data science, big data manipulation, and coding (Python) is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Identify impactful intelligence topics based on customer needs and missions.
• Produce high-quality intelligence assessments following U.S. IC standards.
• Utilize Rhombus AI-informed capabilities and research skills to gather information for products.
• Identify information gaps and coordinate with Model and Data Development teams.
• Use structured analytic techniques to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Brief finished intelligence products to stakeholders.
• Support enhancement of Rhombus capabilities through feedback and development of new features.
• Serve as SME for Asia Pacific on Chinese military capabilities, weapons, and South China Sea topics.
