Job Description Summary

The selected candidate will work in a team environment with co-workers and managers in a safety-sensitive setting. Responsibilities include:

1. Operating various heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and backhoes.
2. Familiarity with equipment manuals and daily equipment checklists.
3. Communicating daily job specifications with the Project Manager/Foreperson and operating equipment safely and responsibly.
4. Performing daily pre-start procedures and equipment inspections.
5. Coordinating with supervisors and other equipment operators on project tasks.
6. Maintaining equipment in good condition and cleanliness.
7. Following directions and performing additional duties as assigned.

Work Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

1. Pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical fitness assessment.
2. Provide valid I-9 documentation.
3. Display professionalism and courtesy.
4. Report on time and work long hours when required.
5. Adhere to safety procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
6. Be willing to work in a team and assist with other duties.
7. Possess a valid driver's license with a good record; CDL may be required.
8. Be at least 18 years old.

Education and Experience
