Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking experienced professionals for the AP1000 Supplier Performance Oversight role, focused on manufacturing readiness and supplier capability assessments for critical mechanical components as a resident across the United States. You will report to the Supplier Performance Manager and collaborate with a US-based colleague during onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in heavy fabrication environments.
• Experience in a regulated industry (nuclear/aerospace).
• Lead supplier development projects and complex supplier engagements.
• Nondestructive testing/examination awareness (PT/UT/MT/RT).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Westinghouse technical and quality requirements are achieved via on-site supplier oversight.
• Develop and implement Supplier Oversight Plans for key submittals, manufacturing, surveillance, inspections and tests.
• Coordinate activities across Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality Oversight.
• Promote prompt issue resolution by coordinating communications and corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
