Job summary

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of Accounting/Finance/Vendor Maintenance/1099 related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Working knowledge of general bookkeeping or accounting practices.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely data entry updates for all vendor changes/adds.
  • Maintains ERP Vendor Master Data.
  • Proper follow up/communication for COI vendors with Legal Dept.

Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Basic understanding of 1099 process

Education

High school diploma or GED

We are adding an AP Vendor Maintenance Coordinator to our Team!

The ideal candidate will provide a high level of customer service by processing all vendor maintenance requests into Accounts Payable ERP system.

Remote/work from home opportunity in the Dallas, TX area. However, the selected candidate must be available to attend in person meetings and training onsite in Irving as needed.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurate and timely data entry updates for all vendor changes/adds
  • Maintains ERP Vendor Master Data
  • Proper follow up/communication for COI vendors with Legal Dept
  • Conversion Project processing for legacy vendor setups
  • Meets/Maintains Department SLA for acceptable processing volume
  • Meets/Maintains Department SLA for acceptable quality standards
  • Other duties as assigned by management This position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or GED and 1+ year of Accounting/Finance/Vendor Maintenance/1099 related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of general bookkeeping or accounting practices
  • Experience with one or more accounting software packages and/or ERPs

COMPETENCIES

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ensure that central mailbox is maintained on a daily basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to type minimum 25 words per minute
  • Basic understanding of 1099 process
