Apogee Services Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an AP Support Specialist to provide centralized AP help desk support, resolve inquiries, and ensure SLA/SOP compliance. The role supports cross‑functional teams in the requisition‑to‑pay process with month‑end reporting and analysis responsibilities.
A background in finance or accounting, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential. The hybrid role is based at Viracon offices in Owatonna, MN, with three in‑office days weekly.
The AP Support Specialist is responsible for centralized AP Support Help Desk inquiry resolution in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supporting cross‑functional departments and business segments. The position is critical to Apogee’s Requisition to Pay process and involves month‑end reporting and analysis responsibilities. A background in finance or accounting, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are critical to success.
Required: Minimum associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a high school diploma/GED with 3‑5 years of experience applying accounting principles. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment. Positive, professional attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to handle conflict and sensitive topics. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Preferred: Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Previous customer support/service experience.
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
Located at Viracon offices in Owatonna, Minnesota. Hybrid role with a minimum of three days in office, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST.
