Job summary

Viking is seeking an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to support the Mississippi River cruise product. You will review, code, and process invoices to ensure timely vendor payments and maintain strong financial controls.

This hybrid role is based in Woodland Hills, CA, with in-office work on Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday. You will analyze expenses, reconcile accounts, and contribute to month-end close and audit preparation.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Excel, PivotTables, and VLOOKUPs; strong Word and general ledger systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Review, code, and process invoices ensuring timely payment.
  • Analyze invoice activity and allocate costs across accounts and cost centers.
  • Reconcile credit card activity and balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and close activities.
  • Support intercompany billing and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit documentation.
