Job summary

Florida Turbine Technologies (FTT) in Jupiter, FL, is seeking an AP Specialist to manage vendor invoices, 3-way matching, and Costpoint data entry in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports SOX audit requests, maintains vendor master data, and prepares weekly disbursements. A Bachelor’s in accounting or 3–5 years of high-volume experience is preferred; Deltek/Costpoint experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Receives predetermined work assignments that are process-driven, and subject to a high level of control and review.
• Follows established rules, procedures and global policies.
• Vendor master file set-up and maintenance.
• Accounts payable data entry, coding and vouchering. Month-end activities participation.
• Entering vendor and employee expense reports into Costpoint.
• Purchase order vouchering. Clearing purchase orders using a 3-way matching process in Costpoint.
• Responding to all vendor enquiries.
• Preparing weekly cash disbursements and supporting weekly payment runs.
• Preparing monthly accounts payable accrual report.
• Filing and maintaining all historical records.
• Supports internal and external SOX audit requests.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bacheloris in accounting, or related degree is preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years of equivalent work experience in high volume organization.
• Experience in Deltek/Costpoint or similar ERP System strongly preferred.
• Understanding and prior experience of working in SOX compliant environment is strongly preferred.
