Qualifications

8+ years in accounts payable or procure-to-pay, incl. 3+ years managing people
Manufacturing, industrial, logistics-heavy, or multi-site environment
Working knowledge of US GAAP for payables, accruals, capitalization, and cost classification
Hands-on ownership of AP/spend platform and ERP (NetSuite preferred)
Automation results with measurable impact and AI familiarity
Cross-functional collaboration with plant operations, procurement, and finance
Strong internal controls and audit support experience
Excellent communication across teams and levels
Ability to drive process redesign to scale the AP function
Proficiency in advanced Excel; Power BI, Tableau, or SQL a plus

Responsibilities

Run the AP function end-to-end across all entities and sites
Own the AP technology roadmap and automate workflows
Oversee freight, scrap, and vendor payables with validation and dispute resolution
Lead and scale the AP team with training and documentation
Ensure accurate GL classification and timely close
Partner with Controller on GAAP treatments and controls
Drive touchless processing and auditable AI-assisted workflows
Collaborate across plant operations, procurement, logistics, and tax
