Quest Diagnostics AmeriPath West Hills is seeking an AP/CP Pathologist with subspecialty training in Breast, GYN, or Cytopathology for our West Hills, CA laboratory. The role focuses on diagnostic pathology and collaboration with the Desert Pathology Medical Group across affiliated facilities.

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO with accredited residency, board certification in AP/CP, and a subspecialty fellowship.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with accredited pathology residency.
• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology is required.
• Fellowship subspecialty in Breast, Cytopathology, or GYN/Surgical Pathology from an accredited facility is required.
• Minimum 2 years post-fellowship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide AP/CP pathology services with subspecialty focus in Breast, GYN, or Cytopathology.
• Support diagnostic evaluations for West Hills laboratory and Desert Pathology Medical Group.
• Participate in clinical laboratories operations and maintain patient care standards.

Pay Range: $300,000 - $340,000/year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications are obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

AP/CP Pathologist with subspecialty training in Breast, GYN, or Cytopathology – West Hills, CA

Qualifications

Experience, Qualifications and Certifications:

• 2 or more years post fellowship experience preferred




• MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency




• Must be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology




• Subspecialty Breast Fellowship, Cytopathology Fellowship, or GYN/Surgical Pathology Fellowship at an accredited facility required




• Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations




• Current valid unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California or eligibility to obtain licensure




• Position has the option of working night shift if desired by applicant
