Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking an AP/CP board certified Pathologist to support its growing practice at the Jefferson Northeast Hospitals including Jefferson Torresdale, Jefferson Frankford and Jefferson Bucks. The ideal candidate should possess a broad range of surgical pathology skills with experience in breast or GI preferred.

The selected pathologist will participate in inter-departmental conferences, contribute to a busy surgical pathology service handling approximately 9,000

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program and residency completed.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current Pennsylvania medical license and active staff appointment.
• Breast or GI experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inter-departmental conferences.
• Provide AP/CP pathology services for surgical specimens.
• Support growing pathology practice at Jefferson Northeast Hospitals (Torresdale, Frankford, Bucks).
• Work with oncology, breast and GI services for expansion.
