Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a full-time Pathologist to join their team at Butler Memorial Hospital, located 35 miles north of Pittsburgh. The role includes responsibilities in general surgical pathology and cytology, handling approximately 23,000 surgical and 1,700 non-gyn cytology cases yearly. Applicants must be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and qualified for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities

• Frozen section evaluation.
• AP/CP on call duties shared with the other pathologists in the group.

Butler Memorial Hospital, one of the five hospitals in the Independence Health System, is seeking a full time AP/CP board certified/eligible Pathologist to join. Located just 35 miles north of Pittsburgh, our pathology service currently handles approximately 23,000 surgical, 1,700 non-gyn cytology and 3,861 gyn cytology cases a year, with a projected increase in volume of non-gyn cytopathology. Qualified applicants with leadership skills may find leadership opportunities available.
