Valley Pathologists, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Pathologist (AP/CP) for a partnership-track opportunity in the Dayton, Ohio area (Premier Health & CompuNet Clinical Laboratories).

The practice offers a stable, well-established private group with strong support staff and advanced diagnostic capabilities. Ideal candidates are BE/BC in AP/CP, with Ohio licensure or eligibility, and must be a US citizen or permanent resident; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or BE/BC in AP/CP required.
• Ohio medical license or eligibility required.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative team providing diagnostic services across multiple regional facilities.
• Surgical & Cytopathology: manage complex surgical cases, pap smears, non-gyns, and FNAs.
• Immediate Assessments: perform frozen sections and quick reads in collaboration with radiology and pulmonary teams.
• Clinical Lab Leadership: interpret peripheral blood smears, electrophoresis, and related tests; potential directorships.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: present cases at tumor boards and participate in hospital committees.
• Shared Call: participate in a shared rotation covering frozen sections and general labs.

Full-Time Pathologist (AP/CP) – Partnership Track

Advanced Diagnostics: In-house FISH, PCR testing for solid tumors and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) for hematolymphoid tumors.

Key Responsibilities

You will join a highly collaborative team providing comprehensive diagnostic services across multiple regional facilities.

Surgical & Cytopathology: Manage complex surgical cases, pap smears, non-gyns, and FNAs.

Immediate Assessments: Perform frozen sections and quick assessments/immediate reads (CT/US-guided, navigational lung biopsies, EBUS, and EUS) in strong collaboration with our radiology and pulmonary team.

Clinical Lab Leadership: Interpret peripheral blood smears, hemoglobin electrophoresis, SPEP, and UPEP. Medical directorships and site responsibilities.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Present cases at multispecialty tumor boards (Breast, Lung, Neuro, GI, GU, Head & Neck) and take active roles on hospital committees.

Shared Call: Shared rotation covering frozen sections and general clinical laboratory duties.

Job Requirements

Education/Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).

Licensure: Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted Ohio medical license.
