Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree).
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Master’s degree in subject matter or education (preferred).
• 2+ years teaching/education experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction at a higher level than grade standard in an interactive environment.
• Design lessons and assessments to ensure students' education is internationally competitive.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum/material.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge to boost academic and career outcomes.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and responsibility.
• Support non-instructional functions like Early Bird, Late Bird, and lunch.
• Maintain regular attendance and supervise students.
