Qualifications

• Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities include two years of teaching in a relevant subject area and experience developing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners’ needs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents and use educational technology to enhance learning.
• Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test as part of the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
