Nelson Connects in San Rafael is seeking an AP/AR Specialist on CONTRACT to provide day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable support in a fast-paced environment. The role starts part-time at 3 days per week and ramps to full-time after 2-3 weeks of training.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, posting payments, payroll support as needed, and maintaining accurate accounting records using Yardi Voyager. Onsite work required with strong attention to detail and communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with invoicing and general accounting support.
• Payroll experience or exposure.
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in San Rafael.
• Availability to start part-time and transition to full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support
• Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
• Assist with invoicing, billing, and payment processing
• Support Accounts Receivable activities, including posting and tracking payments
• Assist with Accounts Payable processing and vendor-related inquiries
• Provide payroll support as needed
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Work within Yardi Voyager for AP/AR and accounting-related functions
• Research and help resolve invoice, payment, and account discrepancies
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding accounting matters
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed
• Complete training on company processes, systems, and newly provided equipment
