Job description

Our expertise centers around Cybersecurity, Application Development & Integration, IT infrastructure, and Collaboration.

Position

The Accounting Clerk will report to the Finance Director. This is a full-time work from home position. We use the latest collaboration tools including WebEx Teams for instant messaging & video conferencing to effectively communicate across the organization. The role offers the opportunity for advancement with proven performance for a motivated candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Verifying & entering vendor invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Making timely payments

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Sending customer invoices
  • Posting customer payments to appropriate accounts
  • Monitoring outstanding receivables and following up on overdue invoices
  • Resolving customer billing inquiries
  • Recording inventory receipts in Connectwise
  • Maintaining accurate inventory counts and values
  • Collaborating with sales team for item receipts and timing
  • Reconciling purchase order to items receipts

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Accounting Email
  • Vendor and Customer Management
  • Assist in Monthly Activities
  • Adhere to GAAP standards

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience performing day-to-day accounting functions in QuickBooks desktop
  • 1-2 years experience with QuickBooks inventory accounting
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ConnectWise, Autotask, or other PSA is required
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and quickly respond to changes in priorities
  • Employ problem-solving skills and analysis, and report problems to the Finance Team as necessary
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing technology company is preferred
