Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in Herndon, VA is hiring an AP/AR Clerk to handle customer payments, post to accounts, and support AR processes.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of office experience; accounting experience is preferred. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Post payments to customer accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prepare daily bank deposits from checks received.
• Review and research account balances for accuracy.
• Review A/R for posting and status of accounts.
• Communicate with department manager concerning problems with accounts.
• Data entry and file maintenance of customer files.
• Research customer activity as requested by AR Supervisor and Controller.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, fax and email regarding payments/balances.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00

SUMMARY

This position performs the task of processing and payment of customer payments. A high level of detail and accuracy is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• At least a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• At least 1 year of experience working in an office setting and using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Accounting experience preferred.
