Overview

Temporary AP/AR Assistant – Logistics & Deductions (NetSuite Required)

Location: Remote | Schedule: Temp Assignment

Industry: CPG / Distribution / Logistics

Adecco is seeking a highly organized AP/AR Assistant with NetSuite experience to support our client’s finance and logistics teams. This role will assist with freight billing, customer deductions, and payment processing, helping to streamline operations and reduce workload for the Accounts Payable Clerk. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring shipments are properly tracked and billed, and that customer payments are accurately applied in the system. If you’re experienced in accounts payable/receivable, have strong attention to detail, and can work confidently in NetSuite, this could be a great fit!

Key Responsibilities

Freight Billing & Logistics Support

  • Assist with freight and shipment coordination from co-packers to warehouses and to customers.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments and verify arrival/delivery details.
  • Review and enter freight bills into NetSuite.
  • Maintain shipping tracker and confirm freight charges match delivery documentation.

Customer Payment & Deduction Processing

  • Process incoming payments (check, PDF, Excel spreadsheets) and identify total amounts and deductions.
  • Use third-party deduction tools to match deductions to promotional activity.
  • Enter deduction data into NetSuite, create credit memos, and upload to Vividly for clearing.
  • Support payment posting in NetSuite (depending on experience).
  • Collaborate with the AP/AR team to ensure all entries are correct and complete.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Must have: Hands-on experience with NetSuite in AP/AR or logistics support roles.
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Familiarity with freight billing and customer deduction workflows.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with remittance documents and spreadsheets.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and comfortable working independently with guidance from the team.
Preferred
  • Experience using Vividly or similar deduction tracking software.
  • Background in logistics, warehousing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
