Job summary

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. is seeking a Verify Operator in Santa Ana, CA to inspect inner layers of PCBs using AOI and a 100X microscope. Training occurs on the first shift; then the position operates on a second shift from 4:00pm to 12:30am.

You will verify layer counts, inspect for defects, create NCRs, and maintain daily production logs in a fast-paced, ITAR-controlled environment. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read SOPs and safety rules in English.
• Willing to work overtime & adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Inspects layers after processing through the AOI machine for layer count, handling damage, inspection parameters.
• Inspects and verifies inner layers of PCBs using a microscope; uses a 100X microscope to measure size of lines and circles and verifies with traveler.
• Visually verifies layers from the scanner for proper dot/detect application and visual non-conformances.
• Inspects layers from verification machine to detect location, confirmation and definitions, inner layer reworks, and defects.
• Performs first article inspection.
• Creates and completes NCRs.
• Assists in physically moving jobs through the Inner Layer Prep department.
• Completes daily production log.
• Performs other duties as needed.
