Job summary

A technology manufacturing firm is seeking a candidate to perform testing of customer products using automated optical inspection (AOI) machines. Responsibilities include ensuring specifications are met prior to release, conducting preventative maintenance, and maintaining quality standards. Ideal candidates should have experience with electronic assemblies and understand relevant documentation. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with AOI inspection of electronic assemblies preferred.
• Ability to understand and use industry standards in inspection.
• Capability to perform quality maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform AOI inspection of assemblies accurately.
• Conduct non-routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Stop manufacturing for nonconformances and report discrepancies.

Skills

AOI and/or Inspection experience

Familiarity with electronics components

Ability to read schematics
