Job summary

Jabil is seeking an AOI verification and testing specialist to inspect electronic circuit board assemblies and ensure quality during manufacturing. You will analyze fault data from AOI, use Jabil software tools, and participate in certification and safety procedures on the production floor.

Qualifications

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
Experience in a manufacturing environment or similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with quality testing and rework processes.

Responsibilities

Understand and analyze the fault data output from AOI and act accordingly for rework, using appropriate Jabil software packages.
Interpret BOMs, visual aids, deviations, testing tools and procedures.
Take the annual AOI re-certification and pass the test, plus manufacturing certifications.
Escalate to the appropriate technician for borderline faults.
Use Down Time Tracking and T.E.D. time ticket software on shop floor.
Follow Jabil production rules, policies and safety procedures.
Collaborate with Test/Manufacturing to achieve department yield goals.
