Job summary
Aerotek is seeking an AOI Operator for our Plano, TX facility on the 1st and 2nd shifts to support SMT/AOI operations. You will perform machine setup, run production, inspect products, and assist with maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SMT processes, PCB assembly, AOI systems, and IPC-A-610 standards, and can perform soldering and inspection tasks while adhering to lean manufacturing practices and 5S principles.
Qualifications
- Experience with SMT processes and PCB assembly.
- Proficiency in AOI systems and machine operation.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards.
- Competence in statistical process control and inventory control.
- Experience in changeover support and equipment calibration.
- Skill in process documentation review and root cause investigation.
- Experience in rework identification, data entry, and production tracking.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and 5S workplace organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment setup and first article inspections.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and process monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production requirements.
- Support electronic manufacturing operations with machine setup and operation.
- Troubleshoot and maintain SMT and AOI equipment.
- Perform AOI inspection and hand soldering tasks.
