Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of electronics manufacturing, SMT, AOI, inspection, or quality experience.
• Ability to identify electronic components and read assembly documentation.
• Experience using microscopes and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate AOI inspection equipment on SMT production lines.
• Review AOI-generated defects and classify true defects versus false calls.
• Inspect populated PCBs for missing components, incorrect component values, polarity issues, skewed or tombstoned components, solder bridges, and insufficient or excessive solder.
• Verify assemblies to IPC-A-610 quality standards.
• Document inspection findings and communicate defects to SMT operators and process technicians for correction.
