Job summary

Rocket EMS is seeking an AOI/AXI Operator to verify that PCB assemblies meet IPC workmanship standards. You will operate and maintain AOI/AXI systems, perform first article verifications, and ensure defects are accurately identified and escalated in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires 2+ years in electronics inspection, IPC-A-610 certification, and the ability to read blueprints and BOMs. Strong attention to detail and clear English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in electronics inspection, AOI, or AXI operations.
• IPC-A-610 certification required.
• Ability to interpret inspection images, read blueprints and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review job documentation prior to inspection; operate AOI/AXI equipment for PCB inspections.
• Perform first article inspections and verify IPC-A-610 compliance and customer standards.
• Analyze inspection data and images to identify, classify, and disposition defects.
• Verify solder joints, component alignment, and hidden connections; escalate major issues.
• Document results and communicate findings to leads and supervisors; raise Technical Inquiries when discrepancies occur.
