Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Tech (AOI, AXI) for the 2nd shift to perform complex tests, troubleshoot, analyze data, and validate products in a production setting. The role supports automated inspection equipment and process improvements, reporting to the Test Engineering Manager.

You will set up operational testing, analyze results, and document findings while assisting engineers with hardware/software testing and training technicians on procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Experience with electronics and PCBA processes.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Python, Java.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development activities for products and components.
• Analyze test results, collect data, and recommend changes to resolve technical issues.
• Review instructions, blueprints, specs, and procedures to determine testing requirements and potential solutions.
• Set up and conduct operational testing of units and components to support development and quality control.
• Analyze results against specs and modify equipment to meet requirements and objectives.
• Record procedures, results, and recommendations for test method improvements, while maintaining revisions.
• Assist engineers with hardware/software development to test customer products and specs.
• Train technicians on products, processes, equipment, and testing procedures.
• Lead or guide others and provide on-the-job training.
