Job summary

Jet Excellence, LLC in Sanford, North Carolina seeks an AOG Technician to provide rapid-response maintenance and repair for grounded aircraft. You will diagnose, repair, and document actions, coordinating with maintenance control and vendors to minimize downtime.

Role requires an FAA A&P certificate, 3+ years in aircraft maintenance, and flexibility for travel, after-hours work, and on-call rotations. FAA regulations and safety standards govern all actions.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• 3+ years in aircraft maintenance; AOG or field service experience preferred.
• Advanced troubleshooting across multiple aircraft systems.
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with Citation X and Hawker 800X (preferred).
• Flexible scheduling including short-notice deployments, evenings, weekends, holidays, on-call.

Responsibilities

• Respond to AOG situations locally or remotely, including travel as needed.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical discrepancies under time-critical conditions.
• Expedite repairs by coordinating with Maintenance Control, vendors, and parts suppliers.
• Document maintenance actions and return-to-service approvals.
