Job summary

OSI Recruit is seeking an MRB Engineer for our Wichita, KS team. The role focuses on design analyses, disposition of non-conformances, and coordination with suppliers and Final Assembly Lines to ensure proper repair and compatibility with airworthiness requirements.

Ideal candidates will have Boeing product exposure (737/787 variants), CATIA V5 proficiency, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. The position offers variable shifts and salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working on Boeing products/structures for a minimum of three years.
• Knowledge across 737/787 variants with metallic and composite capabilities preferred.
• Understanding of material properties, production methods and their effects on aircraft performance.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing/model modification.
• Design Organisation Approval (DOA) experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design analyses and create design dispositions for assembly/manufacturing non-conformances, evaluating different repair scenarios for fit, form and function.
• Process detail and sub-assembly concessions from risk-sharing partners and Final Assembly Lines.
• Identify the most efficient analysis methods while ensuring adherence to airworthiness and customer requirements.
• Liaise with Design/Stress approvers and other functions to ensure optimal design solutions considering cost, time, performance and installation.
• Customer facing and able to explain and elevate critical issues while mentoring others.

Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Experienceworking on Boeing products and structures either directly or within theSupply Chain, for a minimum of three years and ideally having held a levelof delegated technical approval
