Job summary

The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office seeks an experienced attorney to join the Antitrust Division in Boston as Assistant Attorney General. You will represent the Commonwealth in investigations and litigation, handling matters under state and federal antitrust laws across diverse industries.

Applicants should be eligible for Massachusetts Bar admission, with three+ years of complex civil litigation experience and a background in antitrust or competition law.

Qualifications

• Must be a member of the Massachusetts bar or eligible for admission in short order.
• Three+ years of complex civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in antitrust or competition law desired but not required.
• Experience with quantitative and/or economic analyses preferred.
• Strong oral and written advocacy and ability to grasp complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in investigations and litigation before state and federal courts.
• Handle a substantial number of matters involving enforcement of state and federal antitrust laws.
• Collaborate with attorneys from other states, DOJ, and FTC; contribute to policy development.
