Job summary

Freehold Regional High School District is seeking a Speech Language Specialist to deliver diagnostic assessments, counseling, and related mental health services to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Minimum: Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and NJ Educational Services Certificate with SLP endorsement. Salary starts at BA – Step 1: $72,515 prorated per annum; benefits include sick days, personal days, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree in Speech Language Pathology from a regionally accredited college or university.
• NJ Educational Services Certificate or Statement of Eligibility required with the appropriate endorsement as a speech language specialist.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective diagnostic assessments, counseling, and facilitating appropriate psychological/mental health services for students.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent in consultation with the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments and counseling as part of student support services.
• Deliver psychological/mental health services and collaborate with school teams to support students’ learning needs.
