Job summary

E.O. Smith High School seeks a motivated physics teacher to contribute to our diverse science department and help students explore how the physical world works.

The successful candidate will hold CT Physics 4–12 certification or be eligible, deliver standards-based lessons, generate and analyze data to inform instruction, and participate in department and school-wide professional development, and engage with a diverse student body. Start date and assignment duration are to be determined.

Qualifications

• CT Physics 4–12 certification required or eligible.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Experience or understanding of culturally relevant instruction.
