Williams-Cone School, a preK-5 elementary school serving Topsham, Maine, is seeking a Long-Term Substitute for a 5th grade classroom from approximately October 13 through November 24 (6 weeks).

PAY RATE: $279.00/day

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Showing passion and a commitment to helping all students learn at a high level.
• Contributing to a school culture of appreciation, collegiality, and innovation.
• Utilizing skills to be successful with intensive collaboration in a team-based, multi-grade approach to teaching and learning.
• Creating an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel they belong, and are excited to learn.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of research-based Literacy and Mathematics instruction and assessment at the intermediate-elementary level, and the commitment to continue professional learning.
• Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
• All other duties per teacher contract.

REQUIREMENTS:
