Spruce Mountain High School

Description:

This position is a full time 8 hour, 260 day custodial position at the high school working nights. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning a section of the high school designated to them and also during basketball season to help clean the gymnasium after games. Custodial duties include, but are not limited to: general cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, floor care, moving furniture, etc..

Hours for this position - School days (175 nights) 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Summers / workshop days (85 days) 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Wage: $23.64 / hour with a $0.50 shift differential for nights

You may be asked to drive a bus on occasion to fill in.

Qualifications:

• CDL B license with S endorsement (we will train the right candidate, will have 6 month obtain license if do not currently have)
• Obtain a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) through the MDOE
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
• Knowledge of custodial / maintenance is a plus, but is not required, willing to train.
