Job summary

Park Hill South High School in Park Hill, Missouri seeks an Anticipated High School Math Teacher for the 2027-2028 school year. The position will support students in mastering mathematics and developing critical thinking in a dynamic classroom setting.

This is a full-time, 190-day position for new teachers (186 days for returning teachers) with benefits as outlined by the Park Hill School District and the Park Hill National Education Association Agreement. Certification in Missouri is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold proper certification according to the state of Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Participates in curriculum review and design.
• Employs a variety of effective instructional strategies consistent with lesson objectives.
• Diagnoses and evaluates student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner.
• Monitors student progress and adjusts instruction accordingly.
• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required.
• Refers student for alternative services as provided by the Park Hill School District (ESL, Reading, Special Reading).
