Goals and Responsibilities

Primary Duties

• Analyze factors affecting adolescent development: relationships, communication, risk factors, sexual health
• Teach concepts of health: growth stages, body systems, nutrition, substance use, disease prevention, emergency responses
• Promote healthful living: health practices, media influence, decision-making, environmental health
• Teach movement skills and principles, ensuring inclusivity and safety

Physical and Sensory Demands

Physical: occasional bending, standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds. Sensory: visual and auditory acuity, clear speech, courteous interaction, ability to work amidst interruptions and with limited supervision. Cognitive: task organization, multitasking.
