Danvers Public Schools seeks a Grade 5 Teacher at Smith Elementary School.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Build positive, caring relationships to ensure all students feel valued, respected, supported, and a sense of belonging in the classroom community.
2. Provide all students access to grade-level instruction, including utilizing necessary supplemental resources and/or tiered supports.
3. Use assessment data and feedback from colleagues, students, and families to adjust practices and implement differentiated supports for equitable learning outcomes.
4. Support individual differences in learning needs, abilities, interests, and levels of readiness, including students with disabilities, English learners, academically advanced students, and marginalized groups.
5. Collaborate and communicate with colleagues on tasks supporting shared student learning goals, such as adapting instructional materials, analyzing student work, and planning interventions.
6. Fulfill professional responsibilities, including engaging respectfully with colleagues and adhering to district policies.
