Job summary

The Cinnaminson Township Public Schools are hiring cafeteria and recess assistants to supervise students for 2.5 hours per day, five days a week. Our cafeteria and recess assistants are scheduled to work 2.5 hours per day, five days per week.Start and end times change slightly on single session days and early dismissal days.

The responsibilities of acafeteria and recess assistant include actively monitoring the students and maintaining order in the cafeteria, as well as taking the students outside or to their classrooms for a period of recess.The ability to positively interact with students and staff is a requirement.Safety of the students, both inside the cafeteria and outside at recess, is the number one priority for all monitors. Selected candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, including prolonged standing and walking while actively supervising students in indoor and outdoor settings.
