Job summary

Bellefonte Area School District is inviting applications for the Cafeteria Floater at Bellefonte Area High School within the Food Service Department. The role supports daily cafeteria operations five hours per day, 180 days per year, nine months, with pay level C, under the Director of Food Services.

Qualifications

Position Title: Cafeteria Floater

Reports to: Director of Food Services

Location: Bellefonte Area High School

Work Day: 5 hours/day(subject to change)

Work Year: 180 days/year; 9-month position; 3 paid holidays

Pay Level: C

Position Overview

To assist in cafeteria services.

Key Responsibilities

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percentages.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to effectively communicate to school administration, co-workers and students.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Good moral character.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Able to hear with 40 decibel loss maximum.
• Able to see with acuity of 20 inches or less and far acuity of at least 20 feet normal depth perception, field of vision and accommodation.
